What to tell us

So we can help without asking you to write twice, please include:

  • The email address you sign in with
  • Your phone or tablet model and its operating system version (for example, iPhone 15, iOS 18)
  • The app version, shown at the bottom of the survey list
  • What you were doing, and what happened instead

Please do not send passwords. We never need them.

Signing in

I forgot my password. On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password. We email you a code or a link to set a new one.

I signed up with Google. Sign-in with Google is no longer offered. Choose Forgot password, enter the email address of your Google account, and set a password. Your templates and surveys are unchanged.

My company uses HAMI Voice. Sign in with your work email address. Your company decides how you sign in, and its administrator creates and removes accounts. If your work email is not recognised, ask your administrator first.

I did not get the email. Check your spam folder, and check the address for typing mistakes. If you have no account under that address, we send a short note saying so rather than a reset link.

Voice surveys

The microphone does not work. Allow microphone access for HAMI Voice in your device settings: on iPhone, Settings → HAMI Voice → Microphone; on Android, Settings → Apps → HAMI Voice → Permissions.

I would rather not use voice. Voice is optional. Every survey can be completed by typing, and you can switch at any time.

What happens to my voice? Your speech is streamed to a speech-to-text service (Soniox) and the transcribed text is sent to an AI service (xAI Grok, hosted in the EU) to fill in your survey. Audio is not kept unless your team administrator has switched on the optional audio log, which deletes recordings after 14 days. The Privacy Policy has the detail.

Changing a published template

How do I change a template that is already in use? Open it from Templates and choose New Version. The button shows on Published templates. You get a Draft copy with the next version number, for example 1.3 after 1.2. It has the same fields and reference images. Make your changes there and save.

What happens to the old version? It stays Published until you publish the new one. Publishing the new version marks the old one Obsolete. An Obsolete template no longer appears in New Session, and surveys already started on it keep working.

Does my report design come across? If the template has a report design, you're asked whether to carry it over. Choose Carry designs to copy it onto the new version as a Draft, then publish it from Design report when you're ready.

A reference image is missing from the new version. Images still being checked for viruses when you create the version are left out, and you see a message saying so. Upload them again on the new version.

Report a problem with AI output

HAMI Voice uses AI to fill in survey answers from what you say and to build templates from forms you upload. AI output can be wrong, so review your answers before you submit or sign off a survey.

If the AI produced something wrong, harmful or unexpected, email support@hami-voice.com and tell us what you said or uploaded, and what came back. You can also do this in the app: Settings → Help → Report an AI problem.

Delete your account

You can delete your account and your personal data at any time. See Account and Data Deletion. In the app, open your account panel or Settings → Account and choose Delete account.
